The Chaingang Way

Values that shape every ride and every decision

As fast as the slowest rider

We abhor discrimination of any type, whether it be on issues of fitness levels, gender, political and religious leanings or socioeconomic status. We endeavor to carry one another along, on or off the trail.

Leave no man behind

Closely linked to the first point above, is our commitment to leave no one behind on our trails. This has fostered a sense of family, comradeship and community growth.

Protect the environment

We are a pro-environment group. We actively discourage littering of the environment, and we encourage environmental protection, climate action and tourism for development.

Build the community

Our rides give us a rare intimate peek into the condition of underdeveloped communities along our riding trails. Each year we commit to undertaking development projects that build and develop these communities and support their inhabitants.
